Gina has spent more than 20 years growing marketing and sales teams, launching brands, and building companies, with extensive experience in traditional and digital media. Currently, she is CEO of National Public Media (NPM), the corporate sponsorship subsidiary of NPR.

In this interview, Gina talks about the first time she was introduced to women.com, what her peers thought about her leaving a big job at Discovery and moving over to the Internet...and what it was like being a woman in this industry. She also gives some great advice to women who are entering the digital and media world today and walks Andy through her optimistic vision for the future of social and digital media.
